PHOENIX — A man was arrested after allegedly throwing a sex toy at a Phoenix Mercury game , the city's police department confirms.

Phoenix police told 12News an arrest was made on Aug. 5 around 8 p.m. "regarding the incident."

Kaden Lopez, 18, was arrested after he was tackled by a volunteer for the arena while trying to leave after the incident, according to court documents.

Witnesses told police Lopez threw a green sex toy towards the seats in front of him, hitting a man and landing near the man's 9-year-old niece.

Video from the arena shows Lopez taking the toy from the front pocket of his sweater and throwing it before leaving.
