RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Emergency crews are working to clear up a fallen tree that is blocking a road and has officers diverting traffic early Thursday morning.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, Crabtree Boulevard is closed between Raleigh Boulevard and Capital Boulevard.

Officers said the tree also fell on some power lines, making it dangerous for drivers in the quarter-mile stretch of roadway.

No reports of outages in the area have been reported by Duke Energy or Wake Electric.
