Franciscan Health placed the final beam on the new Dean and Barbara White Cancer Center in Crown Point on Tuesday.

The Mishawaka-based Catholic health care system, its subsidiary Tonn and Blank Construction and the Dean and Barbara White Family Foundation celebrated the milestone at the Franciscan Health hospital at Interstate 65 and U.S. 231 in Crown Point. The project is being funded with a $30 million gift from the Dean and Barbara White Family Foundation, the largest donation ever given to the Franciscan Health Foundation.
