BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Some 11 people escaped a sinking boat near Sheepsead Bay Wednesday evening, officials said.

Video posted to Citizen shows the boat tipping into the water around 9:30 p.m. near East 26th Street and Emmons Avenue. Fire officials can be seen removing one passenger as others look on from a pier.

Ten of the passengers were able to exit the boat via ladders, according to the NYPD. One person had to be rescued, but did not have serious injuries, according to the FDNY.
