TERRA ALTA, W.Va. (WV News) — A train has derailed in the Terra Alta area of Preston County.

According to reports, the first 13 cars behind the second engine are partially off the tracks, with no known hazardous materials and no known injuries.

According to reports, CSX is sending a crew to investigate, while the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department to assist, while the Garrett County (Maryland) and Preston County hazardous material teams have been alerted as a precaution.

A drone also has been deployed, and the conductor's shipping papers have been requested.

The engine reportedly is visible behind East Preston Tire Center.
