MCCOMB, Miss. (WLBT) - Officials are releasing more details after an apparent murder-suicide in McComb, Mississippi, claimed the life of an off-duty officer.

That officer has since been identified as Jason Blake.

On Wednesday afternoon, Pike County Sheriff Wally Jones gave additional information on the shooting.

The incident occurred at 3 p.m. Tuesday on Cole Thomas Road.

When officers arrived at the location, they found Jason Blake and Clay Paulk dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Emergency responders also found Nicki Wilson, who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

She was taken to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center Emergency Room by Pike County Sheriff’s Deputies and is expected to make a full recovery, the sheriff said.
