The sturgeon moon will begin to appear full Friday evening, Aug. 8, reaching peak intensity in the early morning of Saturday, Aug. 9. Don't worry if you've miss the Perseid meteor shower this weekend, the light show still has a couple more weeks.

The sturgeon moon will peak in the early morning hours at 3:55 a.m. on Aug. 9, 2025.
