WOONSOCKET — With lines already painted for shuffleboard and pickleball, Aging Well is in the home stretch of its long-planned outdoor recreation space at 84 Social St.
Now, the city’s senior center is asking the public to help close the final funding gap at a summer fundraiser slated for Saturday, Aug. 9 with a night of food, music, and raffles.
The event will take place at Cercle Laurier, 165 East School St., from 6-11 p.m. Admission is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. The evening will include live music by classic rock cover band Secret Agents, plus a cash bar, raffles, auctions, and $2 pizza slices made by Gator’s Pub co-owner Scott McGee in-house with a pizza oven he helped procure for the center.
