Swansea City manager says the arrival of Luka Modric and Snoop Dogg as minority investors have given the football club a huge buzz, ahead of their opening-day trip to Middlesbrough .

Over the summer, the football superstar and rap icon have both become shareholders at the club, with comparisons to fellow Welsh outfit Wrexham, and the positive impact such global personalities have had on moving that club forward.

Though Sheehan dismissed comparisons to Wrexham - who will compete in the Championship this season after an unprecedented three consecutive promotions - he is hoping it can have a similar effect at the South Wales club, who have been out of the Premier League since 2018.
