PORTLAND, Ore (KOIN) -- The Pacific Northwest Multi-Cultural Festival is back for its second year, offering underrepresented playwrights, filmmakers and actors a stage to show off their works.

The event is happening August 14-16 at the DoubleTree by Hilton at NE Multnomah Street in Portland.

Organizers say the goal is the festival is to provide an artistic and professional environment for these artists' talents to shine.
