UPDATE 10:30 P.M.: Crews pulled out a vehicle from the Missouri River and confirmed it is the vehicle they were looking for.
They also confirmed nobody was inside.
Divers went into the river around 8 p.m. and were able to locate the vehicle, with crews then moving to pull it out.

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Authorities are searching the Missouri River after a rental car connected to a missing person was pinged in the area.
Sioux City Police Sgt. Tom Gill tells KTIV that a 47-year-old man has been missing since about 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6. According to Gill, the GPS in the man’s rental vehicle was pinged in the area of the boat ramp located at 116 Larsen Park Road.
Gill says the vehicle is not in the boat ramp parking lot, and authorities are still searching for it. Sio
