The new Championship season is upon us and at Middlesbrough it’s the dawning of a new era.

Rob Edwards takes over from Michael Carrick in the Boro hotseat hoping to guide the club back to the Premier League. With a slow start to the summer transfer window, however, on top of last season’s tenth place finish, it’s fair to say there aren't too many holding high hopes on Boro this term.

That’s certainly reflected in our bumper club-by-club season preview - with 24 Championship correspondents (one from each club) getting together to offer their predictions for the new campaign, and give the lowdown on their respective clubs. As far as verdicts on Boro go, only two of the 24 are backing Edwards’ side for a top-six finish this season.
