LORAIN, Ohio (WOIO) - The autopsy report of the suspected shooter of three Lorain police officers revealed new details Thursday about his state of mind during the ambush.

On July 23, Michael Parker, 28, ambushed Officers Phillip Wagner and Peter Gale, who had just bought a pizza and were parked side by side at the dead-end on Missouri Avenue.

The 28-year-old unleashed gunfire on Wagner, Gale and responding Officer Brent Payne. Wagner died from his injuries the following day.

Parker was shot and killed after officers returned fire.
