LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police responded to a non-fatal shooting call Thursday morning, involving a small child.
According to LMPD, officers from the second division were called out at 11:40 a.m. to a shooting victim who had been taken to Norton West Louisville Hospital.
The child, believed to be around 4-years-old, was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital and treated. Thankfully, the child’s injuries were non life-threatening. Preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting happened at a residence in the 2700 block of Garland Avenue.
