MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man is now in jail after police say he robbed a victim at gunpoint of a phone they were trying to sell to him.
Officers say 21-year-old Dontae Marks is the person responsible.
He was arrested Wednesday and is being charged with aggravated robbery.
According to Memphis Police, they responded to a robbery on June 27 in the 2700 block of Claudette Street, where a male victim told them he had just been robbed at gunpoint.
The man said he was selling his Samsung Galaxy phone for $400 on Facebook Marketplace, and someone by the name of "Sto Babysplatt" said they would like to purchase it and agreed to meet at the address.
The victim then told police that as soon as "Sto Babysplatt" arrived, he noticed someone in the car with him.
