DANIEL ISLAND — Charleston police are asking for help in tracking down three people connected to vandalism at Philip Simmons High School that included spray painting a swastika and other racist graffiti on school property, according to an Aug. 6 release .
Security cameras at the school captured three people believed to be teenagers during a late July break-in of a maintenance building, stealing orange spray paint, then vandalizing for two hours athletic facility floors, outdoor bleachers and three school buses, according to an incident report. Security cameras inside school buses had also been spray-painted over.
The graffiti included racist language, a swastika and male genitals, according to an incident report and the news release.
