ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta hip-hop legend Jeezy made it just in time for a show in Baltimore after taking an unexpected route because of canceled flights.

The rapper, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, was set to perform in Baltimore as a stop on his “A Night of Motivation: Celebrating 20 Years of Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101- LIVE” tour.

In an Instagram post, he wrote that he was told that his driver was on his way to pick him up because all fights to Baltimore and D.C. from Atlanta had been canceled.

During the drive, they experienced a gas leak after hitting an object on the road in South Carolina. Jeezy’s team tried to get a jet for him, but because he wasn’t sure if they could make it on time, they ended up calling an Uber.
