LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Arkansas travelers can now use their Mobile ID to board flights across the country.

State officials said an Arkansas Mobile ID can be used at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints instead of a physical license or ID. The Mobile ID can also be shown instead of a boarding pass.

Anyone with an existing Arkansas license or ID can freely access their Mobile ID from the Arkansas Mobile ID app in the App Store or Google Play.

The Arkansas Mobile ID will be available in the Google and Samsung wallets by fall with Apple wallet following.

More than 30,000 Arkansans have a Mobile ID.
