LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) - Heading to the airport? Make sure to take your cell phone.

The Transportation Security Administration is now accepting Arkansas Mobile IDs at more than 260 airports across the country.

According to the Department of Finance and Administration, the app can be used instead of a physical license or ID.

The free Mobile ID app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

The Mobile ID will be available in Google and Samsung wallets by early fall, with the Apple wallet to follow. Until then, the Mobile ID app can be presented directly to TSA.
