BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) -- Crews will be in Bloomington next week to start work on a pavement preservation project.

Starting on Tuesday, Aug. 12, the contractor for the city of Bloomington's Engineering Department will be installing PressurePave pavement preservation next week, said engineering director Jim Karch.

He also said this will be in parts of the Broadmoor, Brookridge, Rollingbrook North, Rollingbrook South and Hershey Grove subdivisions.

Karch said the Bloomington City Council approved a more than $1 million contract with Donelson Construction Company, LLC, for this work in July.

Notices will be distributed to each property that gives dates and additional information before the start of the work on each street, he said.
