Schnucks has announced plans to build a new, larger grocery store in an upcoming Creve Coeur complex.
The new 68,000-square-foot market will be part of the city’s Olia Village development and will replace the current Schnucks store nearby at 10650 Olive Boulevard, the company said this week.
“In addition to a more modern and efficient shopping experience, once open, the new location will allow us to offer shoppers more options and amenities that simply aren’t possible at the current, smaller location,” Schnucks Chairman and CEO Todd Schnuck said, in a statement.
The nearby Creve Coeur store opened in 1967 and is 36,500 square feet. Workers at that store will be transferred to the new location once the Olia Village store is open. Schnucks did not yet have an opening date for the new stor
