KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - Multiple overdoses in the Kansas City metro ultimately led to a nearly 4-year prison sentence for a fentanyl dealer.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas announced on Thursday, Aug. 7, that Rayvon Porter, 33, of Kansas City, Kansas, was sentenced to nearly 4 years in prison for drug trafficking.

Court records indicated that Porter previously pleaded guilty to a single count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and fentanyl. The charges stem from an investigation into multiple fentanyl overdoses.
