Erie, Pa (WJET/WFXP) -- A local pastor has been placed on administrative leave following an investigation being conducted by the Erie County District Attorney.
On Thursday, August 7, the Diocese of Erie released a statement regarding Father Ross Miceli's alleged involvement in a potentially fake Corvette raffle.
According to their statement, Father Miceli has been placed on administrative leave at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Millcreek Township without assignment as part of an ongoing internal review.
Father Miceli will also not be returning to his duties at St. Timothy Parish in Curwensville or at the second mission church of St. Bonaventure in Grampian.
