LAVONIA, Ga. —

The Lavonia Police Department (LPD) is currently on the scene of an officer-involved shooting that occurred at Midway Drive in Beaver Creek Trailer Park.

According to authorities, one individual has been injured in the incident. No officers were hurt.

Residents in the area are asked to stay indoors and keep their doors locked as the investigation continues.

Officials have also confirmed that the entrance to Beaver Creek is currently closed to the public.
