AYDEN, N.C. (WITN) - An Ayden man is facing more than two dozen gun charges after his arrest on Wednesday.

Ayden police have charged Edward Williams IV with six counts of larceny of a firearm, six counts of possession of a stolen firearm, and three counts of misdemeanor larceny.

Pitt County deputies charged with men with six counts of possession of firearm while subject to domestic violence order, six counts of solicit unlawful purchase of firearm, eight counts of obtaining property by false pretense, and two counts of possession of stolen property.

Deputies say Ayden police on Wednesday began investigating the left of numerous firearms and other items from a home. The 23-year-old was identified as a suspect, and police learned he had pawned the guns in Pitt County.
