EAST PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- The Illinois Department of Transportation announced there are currently moving lane closures on Illinois Route 116 for striping work.
The closures will take place from near Blackjack Boulevard to near the Woodford County Line, IDOT spokesperson Kimberly Hoskins said.
The moving closures will be controlled by a truck-mounted attenuator. The project is expected to last three days.
Drivers should expect congested traffic during peak hours and should allow for extra time or find alternate routes.
More information on road closures is available on IDOT's website.
