ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Tonia Haddix, the star of “Chimp Crazy,” has been sentenced to 46 months in prison for lying about the death of Tonka the Chimpanzee.

In March, Haddix, 55, pleaded guilty to two counts of perjury and one count of obstruction of justice. She admitted that her false statements influenced and obstructed the administration of justice in the pending civil suit.
