BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The owners of a popular pizza spot in Five Points South have announced on social media they will soon close the restaurant after six years in business.

Iron City Pizza Company, located on 11th Avenue South at Five Points South in Birmingham, will close on August 24, 2025.

The social media post thanked their staff and their families, in addition to their customers and the community for visiting their business throughout the last six years.

“To our amazing community and loyal customers-thank for showing up-week after week and year after year-with kindness, loyalty and love! You have filled our space with so much joy and life! It has been our greatest honor to serve you,” the Facebook post said .
