CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery and three additional thefts targeting tobacco and vape shops across the city.

Jordan Bernard Langford-Coker was arrested July 22 by CMPD's Violent Crime Apprehension Team and faces multiple charges, including robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy.

The investigation began after officers responded to an armed robbery call at a business along South Boulevard on July 8. Police said two suspects stole about $1,300 worth of CBD and tobacco products, plus roughly $2,000 in cash.

Detectives with CMPD's Robbery Unit continued investigating the case, reviewing surveillance footage and collecting witness testimony. Their work connected Langford-Coker to three additional thefts at
