CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) -- A crash that happened in Canfield late Thursday afternoon has stalled traffic on Route 224.

The wreck is just west of the turnpike overpass on Route 224 and is backing up traffic all the way to Route 11 on one side and past Tippecanoe Road on the other.

Traffic is also heavy through the Westford development and impeding drivers trying to get to Route 224 from Route 11.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area.

We don't yet know how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was hurt.
