ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) - It was Day 12 of training camp at St. John Fisher and Day 4 of James Cook not practicing.

Cook has yet to agree to a contract extension and is still holding in.

Before today's final practice of camp, head coach Sean McDermott gave some insight as to where the team is at with its running back.

"We've had good communication, which I appreciate. You know, the line between a coach and player, to me, is a little bit different than what goes on on the other end of things. Just with business," he said. "To me, it's important that we stay seeing eye to eye in terms of our relationship and our communication and our ability to communicate, and James has done a good job of that."
