ROYSTON, Ga. —

A man is accused of stabbing his brother at a motel in Royston, Georgia.

On Wednesday night, officers with the Royston Police Department responded to the Days Inn motel at 841 Hartwell Street regarding a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they came into contact with Travis John Hill, who police say had a laceration on his arm.

Travis said he had been stabbed by his brother, Christopher Lee Hill, who ran into some nearby woods.

Royston officers along with deputies from Hart County and Franklin County began a search of the area for Christopher. Royston Firefighter Brady Roberts also responded with a heat-detecting drone.

Following a short search, Christopher was found and arrested. He was booked into the Hart County Detention Center under the following charges:
