ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Tom Walden is a Navy veteran and cancer survivor who is making headlines for powerlifting.

After learning to powerlift, the 84-year-old set his sights on competing. He then entered the Battle of the Beasts, where he won Best Lifter in the Senior Division.

In addition to winning Battle of the Beasts, Walden did four successful lifts, which basically set a record and broke it three more times. His final weigh was 177 pounds.
