A Dorchester man was arrested Wednesday while pushing a shopping cart allegedly loaded with 25 stolen cell phones and other devices from a Cricket Wireless store, police said.
Jose Davila, 56, was slated to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges that include breaking and entering and larceny, police said.
Around 3 a.m., police responded to a commercial alarm at a Cricket Wireless store on Dorchester Avenue, where they found a shattered front door, a brick inside the building, and an open safe, officials said.
About 25 minutes later, officers saw Davila pushing a shopping cart with “a large box inside” on nearby Centervale Park.
