ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - A simple traffic violation led to a drug bust of illegal narcotics, nearly $100,000 in cash and weapons, according to Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.

Orangeburg County Sheriff’s deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle July 22 after the operator violated three traffic laws.

Deputies allegedly discovered the vehicle was made up of a number of stolen parts. The operator said the vehicle was her boyfriend’s car.

Officers investigated further and found more than $93,000 in cash, three firearms and additional stolen car parts at the boyfriend’s house, Ravenell said.
