SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Thanks to a multi-year federal grant totaling $1.75 million, Briar Cliff University will soon be launching a new initiative.

The 5-year Student Support Services Grant from the U.S. Department of Education will allow Briar Cliff to improve college access for underrepresented students.

The university also plans to use the money to assist in expanding its capacity to provide advising, mentoring, and counseling services for 200
