GRETHEL, Ky. (WYMT) - Eula Hall planted a clinic in Floyd County that has grown and expanded for decades.

“In 1984, she stood on the back of the wagon with Carl D. Perkins and her famous slogan at that time was that ‘We worked hard and we thought hard for a clinic on Mud Creek,’” said Justin Crace, Big Sandy Health Care COO.

Hall planted the Mud Creek Clinic more than 50 years ago, but spent her life pushing for more growth and expanded healthcare access for her people. Thursday, the renamed Eula Hall Health Center celebrated a new milestone, four years after its founder and namesake died.

“That dream of Eula Hall to get a new clinic on Mud Creek is finally coming to fruition,” said April Herald, business office manager.
