99 Ranch Market will open its second Oregon location Aug. 16.

The Asian grocery chain is opening its 65th location at 10544 S.E. Washington St. in a space formerly occupied by OfficeMax and Big Lots.

It will be the company’s first Portland location .

99 Ranch Market CEO Alice Chen said the company has eyed expansion in the Portland area “for some time.” Interest in another location grew after opening its first Oregon location in Beaverton in 2017.
