Two men have been arrested and two officers have been placed on leave after a shooting incident at a trailer park in Lavonia, Georgia.

After 3 p.m. Thursday, the Lavonia Police Department announced that officers were on scene of an officer-involved shooting that occurred at Midway Drive in Beaver Creek Trailer Park.

Authorities said one individual was injured in the incident. No officers were hurt.

Residents in the area were asked to stay indoors and keep their doors locked as the investigation continued.

Shortly after 9 p.m. warrants were issued for Justice Spencer and Koran Norman in connection with the shooting incident. Within minutes of the warrants being issued, officers found both suspects within the city limits of Lavonia.
