STRAWBERRY POINT, Iowa (KCRG) - A northeastern Iowa man is charged following his involvement in a hit-and-run in Strawberry Point.
At approximately 4:02 p.m. Tuesday, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a hit-and-run in Strawberry Point.
The caller identified a possible vehicle description. A deputy found a vehicle that matched the description shortly after in West Union.
After further investigation, officers arrested 47-year-old Adam Starrett, of West Union, during a traffic stop.
Starrett is charged with operating while under the influence. He was taken to the Fayette County Jail.
No injuries were reported. No other information is known at this time.
