BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With fall right around the corner, it’s a great time to get ready for Bowling Green Parks and Rec’s Adult Sports Leagues.
Pickleball courts at Roland Bland Park may look empty, but they’ll be filled up starting August 25th as the adult pickleball league is one of many that’ll start up soon.
Softball, volleyball and tennis will all be featured along with the return of dodgeball, which is back after 15 years.
Staff at BG Parks and Rec are excited to offer a wide variety of leagues for the community to take part in.
“It’s also fun for us to just offer new programs… we have softball every year, that’s kind of a staple in any parks and rec department, but to offer dodgeball, that’s just going to be fun for us also for the community, so we’re pretty excited about that,”
