LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Today’s forecast promises another day of isolated rain chances and scattered sunshine.
Temperatures start in the low 70s, with some areas seeing a bit of fog in the early hours, but temperatures will climb throughout the day. Highs will peak in the upper 80s.
While many will stay entirely dry, there are a few chances for some isolated activity in the afternoon. These showers will be small and quick-moving, but can pack a punch. On Thursday, an isolated shower dropped over 2.5 inches of rain on just the southside of Lexington! So keep your umbrella handy as those isolated rains show up in the afternoon.
More chances are present this weekend, with a good amount of sunshine in between those rain chances showing up in the afternoon. Temperatures stick to the upper 80
