All the parts of England that could miss out on a UK heatwave next week - which could be the last of the year - have been revealed. Maps and charts hint at scorching temperatures and stifling heat returning to England next week.

WX Charts maps and charts show a five-day heatwave could hit from August 19 to 23, bringing 36C highs.

But not everywhere will be hit, despite swathes of the map turning yellow and orange as the country blazes in bright sunshine, according to projections from forecasters at WX Charts, which bases its predictions off the GFS advanced model.

Areas set to be spared include the north and Midlands, from Cumbria, Cumberland, Durham, Northumberland and Westmorland to Yorkshire, Lincolns
