LATTA, S.C. (WMBF) – The Latta Police Department named its new police chief Thursday.
The department welcomes Interim Chief Allan Roger as the new permanent chief.
Town Administrator Daniel Rogers said the town council held an emergency meeting after the old chief’s resignation, during which they voted to appoint Captain Allan Rogers as the interim chief.
Now his role has been made permanent.
