IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Two Statesville men were arrested Wednesday following a drug trafficking investigation that led to the seizure of a half pound of methamphetamine worth more than $22,000, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.

John Anthony Mazzullo, 55, and Cody Shane Jett, 24, were taken into custody at the Masters Inn on Sullivan Road in Statesville.

Sheriff Darren Campbell said narcotics detectives received reliable information that Mazzullo was staying at the motel and dealing methamphetamine while trying to avoid arrest on outstanding felony warrants.
