TEXARKANA, TEXAS - Police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Friday morning in the 1200 block of Nolthenius Street.

At approximately 4:51 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at the residence. Upon arrival, they discovered a 22-year-old man deceased just inside the doorway.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.

Investigators say it’s still early in the case, and many questions remain unanswered. Authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and to identify any suspect or suspects involved.
