Rob Edwards insists that Middlesbrough will add more signings before the window closes, as he moved to explain why business hasn’t been as fast as many would have hoped.
On the eve of the new season, Boro have so far only been able to conclude three incoming transfers, with Alfie Jones, Callum Brittain and Abdoulaye Kante through the door. However, it’s clear after five loan exits and two end-of-contract departures that Boro still need more.
