LUMBERTON — Ed McNeill, a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lutheran Services Carolinas’ (LSC’s) GlenFlora senior care community in Lumberton, has received the organization’s Loyal Service Award for 2025.

This peer-nominated award recognizes teammates who fulfill LSC’s mission by serving clients and residents in an extraordinary way. Only seven out of 2,500-plus teammates from across the Carolinas are honored each year.

McNeill has been with LSC for over 40 years. He was nominated by GlenFlora Executive Director Austin Locklear.

“Ed leads by example,” said Locklear. “We have confidence in him. He goes above and beyond for all the residents, and they love when Ed is assigned to them. Ed has a sincere heart, and it is evident by the care he gives.”
