U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon is scheduled to visit Arkansas next week as part of the "Returning Education to the States" tour, according to a news release Friday from the U.S. Department of Education.

The secretary of education will visit all 50 states as part of the tour to hear from students, teachers and school leaders about education models, the release said. In additional to visiting Arkansas, McMahon is scheduled to visit Louisiana and Tennessee next week.

The release Friday did not specify what day McMahon will be in Arkansas.
