SHAWANO, Wis. (WFRV) - Police in Shawano are informing the public of how difficult it can be to determine if a gun is real or fake following a recent incident that ended with one woman being arrested.

According to a release from the Shawano Police Department, officers responded to a trespassing complaint on Monday, August 4.

Once on the scene, police say one woman refused to leave and became combative with police while also resisting officers as they arrested her.

The woman reportedly had a black handgun tucked into her waistband that, at the time of her arrest, looked to be a black Glock 19. Upon clearing the weapon, it was determined to be a Glock 19 CO2 air pistol.
